The Chargeback\/Refund\/Void<\/strong> report provides a breakdown of account deductions due to chargebacks, refunds, and voids and a total of those amounts for the selected timeframe.<\/p>\n\n\n

By breaking down the report by billing method or country, you can determine if accepting payments from specific regions or payment methods results in excessive chargebacks or refunds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

1. Access the Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Select Reports<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Select the Chargeback\/Refund\/Void<\/strong> report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Click Open Report<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

5. Use the Start date<\/strong> and End date<\/strong> fields to set a date range for the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. The Payment Methods <\/strong>dropdown has three options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • All.<\/strong> Look at both Credit Cards and Checks transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Credit Cards.<\/strong> Credit Cards transactions only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Checks.<\/strong> Checks transactions only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    7. Set the Include Rebills <\/strong>option to Yes <\/strong>or No<\/strong> to include or exclude rebill transactions from the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8. Click View Report<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

    9. The Breakdown by <\/strong>section enables you to breakdown the Chargeback\/Refund\/Void data by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Subaccount.<\/strong> Data is displayed based on the subaccount number the transactions took place on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Date.<\/strong> Data is presented based on the date the transactions took place on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Origin.<\/strong> Shows if the transactions were Domestic (within the US) or Foreign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Country.<\/strong> Breaks data down based on the countries the transactions originate from.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

      • State.<\/strong> Displays data based on the state the transactions originate from.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Payment Method.<\/strong> The data is displayed based on the payment method (Credit Card or Check).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Card Type. <\/strong>Shows data by type of Credit Card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

        By clicking the underlined number counts within the columns, merchants can break down that count into a transaction-level report. These detailed reports contain individual Subscription IDs merchants can click and access to review subscription details.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

        10. The report data is divided into 6 columns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Chargeback\/Returned Checks #.<\/strong> The number of chargebacks and returned checks and the total chargeback\/returned amount (USD)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Percent of Total Sale & Percent of Total Count.<\/strong> The percentage of chargebacks\/returned checks compared to total sales (in USD) and the rate of chargebacks\/returned checks in the total count (number of sales).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Refunds #.<\/strong> The number of refunds and the total refunded amount (USD).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

          • Percent of Total Sale & Percent of Total Count.<\/strong> The percentage of voids compared to total sales (in USD) and the share of voids in the total count (number of sales).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
