A rebill transfer is an administrative and technical process for transferring active subscriptions, future rebills, and transactional data from one merchant subaccount to a different merchant account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To initiate a rebill transfer, merchants must complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.docusign.net\/member\/PowerFormSigning.aspx?PowerFormId=351378f4-5e64-4b81-bd00-d4cd983baf7f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Rebill Transfer form<\/a>. The following preconditions need to be met before a rebill transfer can be completed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only the Principal owner of an account can authorize the purchase or sale of rebills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The buyer must have a CCBill subaccount that is identical to the seller\u2019s subaccount and<br>URL.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The destination subaccount must be active and able to process the same payment<br>types as the originating subaccount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the seller processes Visa transactions, Visa transaction processing must be approved<br>and active on the buyer\u2019s subaccount before the transfer of rebilling members. This<br>process can take approximately 7-21 business days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The signup forms on the URL must direct to the buyer\u2019s subaccount before the change<br>takes place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When applicable, user management must be functioning on the buyer\u2019s subaccount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generated funds will continue to route to the seller until the transfer is complete.<br>The buyer and the seller need to make separate arrangements to transfer funds generated in the intervening time. For example, merchants can use CCBill <a href=\"https:\/\/www.docusign.net\/member\/PowerFormSigning.aspx?PowerFormId=4aa289e5-4dfa-4fa4-a6c1-5e2ecfd8a2ba\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Account Split Forms<\/a> to redirect earnings during ongoing billing periods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccbill.com\/doc\/affiliate-system-faqs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CCBill affiliates<\/a> are controlled on an account-by-account basis. Affiliates currently<br>promoting the seller\u2019s subaccount will not be able to promote the buyer\u2019s account with<br>their existing affiliate ID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CCBill will email all consumers being transferred to inform them that they will now be<br>billed as \u201cCCBill*Buyer\u2019s Company Name.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our support teams will guide you through the process and coordinate the transfer between the originating and destination accounts.
