Server Information (CCBill Install)

In order for CCBill to handle the installation of our system onto the server for this subaccount, you must supply information regarding your Web site's location.

If you do not have the required FTP and Server information at this time, it is very important that you collect it as quickly as possible. Within the next 24 to 72 hours, our merchant support representatives will contact you and request this information. It is required to complete the CCBill software installation. If there is any specific technical information we should have or if you do not wish for us to handle the installation of our system onto your servers, please make a note in the comments fields.

Enter the following information if this is a CCBill Installation:

  • System Type - Is this installation going to take place on a Windows, UNIX, or other system?
  • Home Directory - The location that contains all of the viewable HTML files is in the form of /home/directory/to/files. If this is not known, please contact your Web host provider to request the information.
  • Protected Directory - Enter the path to your members/protected directory. This is where your members area and your protected content files are located.
  • FTP URL - The URL that you use to connect to your Web Server when uploading files to your site. Your Web Hosting company provides this URL.
  • FTP Username - The FTP User Name for the Web site domain. This information was provided during Sign Up with the Web host provider. The information is case sensitive .
  • FTP Password - The FTP password for the Web site domain. This information was provided during Sign Up with the Webhost provider. The information is case sensitive.
  • Comments - Use this area to provide specific details. For example, enter any differing account requirements, installation constraints or other pertinent information.

All newly created accounts require a review prior to accepting real transactions. In order to conduct this review, we require access to your Members' area. If your Members area is password protected, you must provide us with an active User Name and password so we may access your subscription-based content for review. We will attempt to review all accounts within the first 72 hours after submittal (PLEASE NOTE: weekends and financial holidays may extend this review period). There are no exceptions to this rule!

Enter the following information to setup access to your members area:

  • Policy Review User Name - Enter an active User Name CCBill staff can use to access your Members area for the initial policy review of your Web site.
  • Policy Review Password - Enter an active password, associated with the above User Name, CCBill staff can use to access your Members area and conduct the initial policy review of your Web site.
