When a consumer attempts to purchase content from you they are first shown a Signup Form. The form is used to collect information about the consumer including their names, addresses, contact information, and credit card or other payment information. Forms have some special features built into them as well.
Besides having the ability to customize the color and appearance of the form displayed to your customers, the form has a built-in ability to detect the geographic location of the consumer and present them with a form in their native language and with pricing in their native currency.
This function of the forms is known as GeoIP and is already built into your forms. All forms offer a Multi-Currency option, but with this feature it is automatically detected for your consumer, saving them the trouble of switching currencies. GeoIP is enabled on all accounts by default, so you do not have to do anything to use this feature!
With GeoIP, consumers who are presented with a local currency payment option when loading the form will not have to pay conversion fees for their transaction, the price has already been determined for them based on their local (bank) currency. Should the consumer decide to pay with a different currency, however, they will be subject to currency conversion charges.
